Second Chance New Year: Havdallah, Nosh & Learn

Hosted by

Young Adults

Now that we're a few months into 5785, it's time to give New Year's resolutions and intentions a second chance as we head into 2025! When it comes to navigating transitions, preparing for an important milestone, or setting goals, the Jewish wisdom tradition has a lot to say - so we're revisiting some Rosh Hashanah wisdom and reapplying it to our lives as we prepare for the secular New Year.

Whether you dug deep for Rosh Hashanah and are excited to reaffirm your resolutions for 2025, or didn't get a chance to really reflect and prepare before, this event is for you! It's also the last time we'll gather in-person in 2024, so join us for a festive celebration with an educational twist!

We'll gather at BasBlue in Midtown Detroit and begin with some happy hour nosh and drinks. Then we'll move into a musical Havdallah and wrap up with some learning with Rabbi Jeff, circling back to ideas about t'shuvah and intention setting leading up to the New Year. (Curious for a preview? Scroll back on our Facebook or Instagram to find our Reflect4Rosh content from September and October!)

Due to the generosity of donors, subsidized tickets are available for $15 per person. Tickets include snacks, beer, wine, nonalcoholic drinks, Havdallah ritual and learning program. Space is limited so advance registration is required.
