Donating One’s Body to Medical Education and Research

Hosted by

Adults

Some of the most interesting developments in Jewish Law are happening in the fast moving area of medical ethics. Join Rabbi Rubenstein as we explore the question of donating one’s body to medical education. Topics we’ll explore: honoring the dead without delaying burial; the mitzva of Pikuah Nefesh (saving a life); when would shiva and other mourning practices begin if a loved one chooses to donate their body for medical education.
