The tradition of helping organizations throughout Metro Detroit and Israel improve lives continues during Adat Shalom's 11th Annual volunteer Day. Volunteers of all ages are invited to be a mensch. Volunteer Day is made possible thanks to a very dedicated planning committee.
Projects include, but not limited to:
Create no-sew fleece scarves
Assemble bag lunches and snack bags
Make tug toys for a local animal shelter
Pack baby baskets
Illustrate notebooks for patients in a local hospital
Tie t-shirts into reusable bags
Assemble bags dry soup ingredients
Make food for Chesed Committee's Shabbat deliveries
Projects connected to Israel
Donations appreciated before and/on volunteer day: Collection bins are downstairs by the Learning Community office.
