Synopsis:
Here We Are is a film telling the story of Aharon who has devoted his life to raising his special needs son Uri.
They live together in a gentle routine, away from the real world.
The time has come for Uri, as a young adult, to move out and live in a specialized home. While on their way to the institution, Aharon decides to run away with his son and hits the road, knowing that Uri is not ready for this separation. Or is it, in fact, his father who is not ready?

תקציר הסרט
אהרון (שי אביבי) מקדיש את חייו לטיפול בבנו אורי (נועם אימבר, "המפקדת"). השניים חיים יחד בשלווה ובהרמוניה, רחוקים מכולם, כשאהרון עושה הכל כדי לגונן על אורי, נער בעל צרכים מיוחדים, מפני העולם שבחוץ. אבל כעת, כשאורי מתבגר, נראה שהגיע הגיל שבו כדאי שיעבור לגור בסביבה המתאימה לאנשים עם צרכים דומים לשלו. כשהם בדרכם למקום שיהיה ביתו החדש של אורי, אהרון מרגיש שאורי אינו מוכן לפרידה והשניים משנים כיוון ויוצאים למסע ברחבי הארץ- מסע שישנה את חיי שניהם, ויביא את אהרון להכיר טוב יותר את בנו ואת עצמו
