Yasher Koach! The time and effort you give back to help the Jewish community through your work with Federation and our partner agencies is inspiring. You’ve invested a lot in us, and now we want to do the same for you.
Lunch & Lead is an invitation-only leadership development experience intended to make the time you give to helping others even more fulfilling. Peer-led by lay leaders and Federation staff, these informal sessions cover various topics to take your non-profit leadership skills to the next level. All designed to fit perfectly into your lunch break!
We’re excited to invite you to our next Lunch & Lead:
Communicating to Be Seen and Heard
Whether you’re speaking with a small group of friends or addressing a large group of strangers, enhance your personal and professional communication skills with time-honored tips from two expert communicators.
Sherrie Singer will help us master our presentation skills by focusing on reading the room, finding our voice and asking the right questions. She’ll provide strategies to captivate your audience, gauge their reactions and navigate challenging interactions, enhancing your effectiveness in group interactions.
Terri Farber will teach us how to articulate our needs in a way that resonates, whether it’s securing donations, soliciting help or convincing friends to join an event. We’ll gain practical strategies for clear, impactful communication that opens doors and builds connections effortlessly.
A small activity to put what we’ve learned into practice, and a Q&A session are included. Bring your own lunch, but we’ll have plenty of additional noshes, desserts and beverages for you to enjoy.
Let’s talk! Please register for Lunch & Lead by September 16th.
