FAQ's

What time does the program start on Friday?

The program officially starts at 7pm, but the retreat centre and amenities will be open as of 1:00. You can check-in anytime between 1pm and 7pm.

When does the program end?

The program will end at 12:30pm on Sunday.

Where are we staying?

The event is taking place at the CBB Retreat Centre on a sprawling camp grounds in the Laurentian Mountains. The centre is like a 3 star hotel, each room has its own bathroom and shower. It will be either double or triple occupancy. All programs and events will be taking place at the Retreat Centre.

Will Aleeza Ben Shalom be there all weekend or just for part of it?

Aleeza Ben Shalom will be there all weekend. She will be there and available. She has planned some incredible sessions for you and can't wait to see you.

I'm coming in from out of town, how do I get up north?

There will be a meeting location in Montreal. There will be many cars going and we will be arranging rideshares and a large van as well. You don't to worry about getting up north, we will help get you there.

What cities have people registered from?

Right now singles have already signed up from California, Alabama, Dallas, NYC, New Jersey, Chicago, Montreal, Ottawa,Toronto and Vancouver and growing.

Is there parking on premises?

Yes there is free parking at the retreat centre, you just need to get a validation sticker for your car.

What does the fee cover?

Your registration fee covers everything. Lodging, all meals (from Friday afternoon til Sunday morning), the entire program. Nothing extra.

What I have a food allergy?

This is a Jewish event. The caterer is happy to accommodate allergies. There's a spot to fill that out on your registration form.

What kind of people is this program intended for?

Right now most of the participants are somewhere between just jewish and traditional. There are handful of modern orthodox singles who have signed up as well.

What is the men and women ratio?

RIght now its about even and we are hoping to keep it that way. Really this summit is about you and your relationship, so you don't need to come with the intent of meeting someone. Just come and and be you... if something happens it happens. If not, you networked, met with fantastic matchmakers, enjoyed an amazing program and got to spend an entire Shabbat with Aleeza Ben Shalom.
