About Shmaya Avieli
In addition to serving as an IDF Air Force Brigadier General, Shmaya is the former head of the Foreign Aid Directorate (SIBAT) at the Israeli Ministry of Defense. In the Israeli Air Force, he served as Commander of the Palmachim airbase and as the IDF attaché in Washington, D.C. prior to his retirement from military service.
