Join the Cummings Centre, 7 pm Wednesday May 8 at 5700 Westbury Avenue for “Life Stories - Up Close and Personal,” an extraordinary evening of inspirational ‘storytellers,’ individuals who have overcome challenges and transformed adversity into personal power. Register early to ensure your choices from among 10 dynamic speakers.

 

Presenters include Rabbi Adina Lewittes, Champion for Inclusivity and Belonging in Jewish Life, Hailey Laxer, Advocate for improved healthcare for rare diseases, Arielle Orvieto, Intersectional Feminist, Poet and Artist, Victoria Gavasheli, Ukrainian Refugee, surviving war and becoming resilient, Reverend Hazan Daniel Benlolo, Musical Director, Shira Choir for Neurodiverse Adults, Ryan Aronson, Certified Counsellor, Supporting Recovery from Addiction, Annie Young, Businesswoman, Entrepreneur, overcoming adversity and loss, Bernard Gotlieb, Canada's longest-living survivor of a bone-marrow transplant for Leukemia, Antonio Park, World-renowned restaurateur and Montreal-based Celebrity Chef and Nadia Papineau-Couture, Marketing Research Professional, Community Volunteer, Overcoming Paralysis.

 

Cost is $10 for Cummings members, $15 for guests.
