The Silicon Valley Jewish Film Festival and Mercaz Israeli Los Gatos collaborate again, bringing you the amazing Israeli film "Home," which was nominated for 9 Ophir awards and won for Best Leading Actor and Best Supporting Actor.
"Home" is based on the director Benny Fredman's own true story.
Synopsis:
A young, recently married Orthodox man's dream to open a computer store in an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem turns into a violent nightmare when the entire neighborhood sees him as an existential threat.
Turning his whole world upside down, the threat enters his home and puts his marriage to the test as he faces the reality of his own free will within a predetermined world.
This is a story of love that overcomes obstacles inside and out. It's about a relationship based on a match between two strangers that slowly grew into a real alliance of lovers.
