Help us celebrate our brand-new exhibit, "In the Neighborhood," with Michigan Jewish history fun for the whole family! (Free with museum admission.)


Outfit the dinner table before sunset! Explore the exhibit to find all of the supplies needed for Shabbat dinner. Hurry to the Streets of Old Detroit to make your own Shabbat candles. Then, visit the neighborhood candy store to buy a special Kosher treat. Fun for all ages and abilities.

DHM Parking lot on Kirby St. (between Woodward and Cass Avenues) open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parking rates are as follows: Parking: $9 during museum hours, $10 flat rate after hours.
