Balabusta Baking

Hosted by

Young Adults

Does the smell of mandelbread take you back to your bubbie's kitchen? Or does the aroma of chocolate chip cookies transport you to your childhood home? Join us for an evening of hands-on baking and learning with Julie Ohana, L.M.S.W. of Culinary Art Therapy as we explore the importance of family recipes and the powerful role food plays on our memories and identities. The treats we bake will be donated to Detroit Community Fridge thanks to our friends at Repair the World Detroit. But don't worry, there will be plenty for you to take home too!

$50 per person includes baking supplies, goodies to take home and drinks.

This event is intended for ladies ages 30 - 50.

Please register in advance by May 10.
