Saturday, March 16 at 7:00 PM: Antisemitism and Me
Jews come in all shapes and sizes, from many different backgrounds and experiences. So it goes without saying that we may experience antisemitism through our own unique lenses as well. Join us as we explore the topic of antisemitism with guest speaker Tema Smith, designed especially for our Next Dor cohort, welcoming individuals aged 20-40, including our Jews by choice.
About Tema Smith:
Tema Smith is a diversity advocate and Jewish community leader, currently serving as the Director of Jewish Outreach and Partnerships at the Anti-Defamation League. With a background in interfaith engagement, professional development, and community outreach, Tema's work focuses on building an inclusive Jewish community. She is a recognized writer and columnist, contributing to outlets like The Forward. Tema has been instrumental in advancing conversations on racially diverse Judaism and has collaborated with various organizations. She is also a member of the Nexus Task Force examining the intersection of Israel and Antisemitism in America at the USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. Tema's leadership will be honored with a 2022 JPro Young Professionals Award.
