Only two performances!

For the first time in Montreal, experience Arthur Miller's iconic masterpiece in Yiddish, Toyt fun a Seylsman. As Willy Loman (played by Sam Stein) confronts the complexities of his own existence and the pursuit of success, the Yiddish language adds a new layer of resonance to this landmark piece. In this emotionally charged adaptation, the struggles of the Lomans to find their place is heightened by the question: Are they a Jewish family?

Death of a Salesman premiered on Broadway in February 1949, going on to win both the 1949 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play. Buloff's Yiddish translation followed soon after.

Join us for a compelling evening of theatre as Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre actors give a dramatic reading of this classic that feels both fresh and familiar!
