Podiatry is the art and science of foot health. It has been on the rise since the establishment of the podiatric medicine program at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in 2004. The need for podiatrists is all the greater given the context of increasing life expectancy and physical activity. The conference, entitled " PODIATRY'S ROLE IN MAINTAINING OVERALL HEALTH ", will address the following themes: How does podiatric medicine prevent, treat and rehabilitate lower limb disorders? What are the most common pathologies affecting adults aged 50 and over? What are the different treatment modalities used in podiatry? How can podiatry help you?
