Join Adamah Detroit, Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, Repair the World Detroit, Congregation T’chiyah, and The Well as we celebrate the Jewish New Year of the trees at our annual Tu B’Shvat Seder! The theme this year is “Seeds of Knowledge, Planting for the Future,” which we’ll be exploring throughout the evening with our newly updated 2024 Tu B’Shvat Haggadah. Community leaders will lead us through the seder while adding wisdom from their respective organizations.
We will be serving a vegetarian, kosher dinner along with ritual foods and wine. There will be dairy-free and gluten-free food options available, as well as non-alcoholic beverage options. Congregation T’chiyah is ADA accessible.
Due to the generosity of donors, subsidized tickets are available at three pay-what-you-can tiers: $15, $25, and $35 per person. Each ticket includes family style dinner, wine and other beverages, and the opportunity to branch out to make new connections during one of the most rooted Jewish learning experiences of the year! (True costs are $30+ per person.) In addition to the registration fee, we ask all participants to bring an item from this list to donate to the Detroit Community Fridge.
