Personal Safety: A Self Defense Workshop

Registration for January 9th is now closed. If the January 9th session is your primary preference, please choose from one of the following options below:


a) Email us to be on the waitlist or

b) Sign up for Jan. 10th morning session, (but limit this session to 40 also.)


During these times of heightened concerns, we want to empower our community members with a practical understanding of how to protect yourself. We invite you to join us for this two-hour class designed to serve as a comprehensive introduction to personal safety. You will learn tips to become more alert and able to quickly make informed decisions for your safety. Our expert facilitators from the Jewish Community Security, Inc. (JCSI) will cover the following topics:


• Situational Awareness

• Self Defense Strategies

• Active Shooter Response Training

• Pepper Gel Training


$12 per person includes pepper gel.

Please register in advance by Wednesday, January 3. Space is limited.


This program is open to community members ages 18 and older.
