This is a challenging and historic time for Israel and the Jewish people. Join Rebecca for an opportunity to discuss books that offer education, engagement, and that highlight challenges and triumphs of the last 100 years of Jewish and Israeli history.
APRIL: We will begin with The Red Balcony by Jonathan Wilson, a mystery novel based on the true story of the murder of Haim Arlosoroff, one of the early leaders of Ben Gurion’s Labor Zionist party.
MAY: Next, we will discuss a newly published non-fiction book by comedian Joel Chasnoff and Benji Lovitt entitled Israel 201: Your Next-Level Guide to the Magic, Mystery, and Chaos of Life in the Holy Land
JUNE: Ben Bastomski’s memoir, As Figs in Autumn: One Year in a Forever War will be the final in this series and is about an American Jew who chronicles his time in the Israeli army.
