2024 JCC Maccabi Games Secure Your Spot (Pre-registration FOR LOCAL DETROIT ATHLETES ONLY)

Welcome to the Detroit JCC Maccabi Team! We are thrilled that you will be taking part in the 2024 JCC Maccabi Games in Detroit July 28-August 2.

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW:

• Use this registration to secure a spot for ONE athlete. If there are multiple athletes in a family, separate registrations must be submitted.
• If your sport is full, please register for SPORT WAITLIST. There is no fee for the waitlist. We will contact you if you are offered a spot from the waitlist. $250 payment must be received within 24 hours.
• Once you have successfully secured your spot, you will receive further registration directions. This includes athlete and host family registration. If you do not receive the email with registration directions within 48 hrs of securing your spot, please reach out to [email protected].
• If for any reason the athlete cancels before February 1, 2024, you will receive a full refund.
• If for any reason the athlete cancels between February 1-April 30, 2024, $150 will be deducted from the refund.
• If for any reason the athlete cancels ON OR AFTER MAY 1, 2024 NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
• The total cost for each athlete to participate is $850. There is a $100 discount if paid in full by March 31.
• Athletes must be between the ages of 12-16 as of July 31, 2024 to participate.
• Local Detroit athletes are required to house a minimum of 2 visiting athletes.

As a JCC Maccabi athlete, you will: 

• Join the rich tradition of the JCC Maccabi Games, the largest annual gathering of Jewish teens in the world.
• Be part of history as Detroit hosts for an unprecedented 7th time.
• March in the Parade of Athletes at the Opening Ceremony in front of thousands of spectators. 
• Compete in a week-long, Olympic-style sporting competition with delegations from across the world. 
• Participate in JCC Cares community service project. 
• Receive Detroit JCC Maccabi swag including an Opening Ceremony march in uniform, team uniform, shirts, trading pins, and so much more .
• Become part of the JCC Maccabi Family and build lifelong friendships.
