Temple Israel Goodman Family Museum: Israel at 75

Hosted by

All Ages

The Temple Israel Goodman Family Museum at TI4Israel are pleased to host a special pop-up exhibit, "Israel at 75," presented by the Detroit Jewish News Foundation. In honor of 75 years of independence, this exhibit captures pivotal moments in Israel's history and the contributions of Jewish Detroiters throughout. Now through mid-December, we invite you to explore this display that captures over 100 years of stories and reports about Israel from the Detroit Jewish Chronicle and the Detroit Jewish News.

Join us for a special evening on Tuesday, December 5th with curator Mike Smith, the Alene and Graham Landau Archivist Chair of the Detroit Jewish News Foundation, as we explore over a century of reporting on Israel’s statehood by the Detroit Jewish Press, highlighting our community’s historical response to situations reminiscent of the current atrocities unfolding in Israel today. Coffee and dessert will be served.

Open to the community at no cost. Advance registration is requested. Questions? Please contact Helene at [email protected]
