The tradition of helping organizations throughout Metro Detroit and Israel improve lives continues during Adat Shalom's 10th Annual volunteer Day. Volunteers of all ages are invited to be a mensch. Volunteer Day is made possible thanks to a very dedicated planning committee.
Projects include, but not limited to:
Create no-sew fleece scarves
Cut plastic bags to make plarn
Assemble bag lunches and snack bags
Make toys for a local animal shelter
Assemble baby baskets
Illustrate notebooks
Tie t-shirts into reusable bags
Chesed Committee projects
Cards for IDF soldiers
Plus, Better To Serve Teen program is doing a bake goods and dog biscuit sale to raise money for JARC.
Donations appreciated before and/on volunteer day: Collection bins are downstairs by the Learning Community office.
