Israel Refresher with Jeff Bicher

How did we get here? We could all use a refresher on modern Israeli history. Please join PJ Parent Connectors, PJ Our Way and the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA for an informative session with local Israel expert Jeff Bicher to learn about the the current conflict in Israel and significant events in the years leading up to it. This is a safe space where we can round out our knowledge of Israel and ask tough questions.

Jeff Bicher is the CEO of the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA. Jeff is also a member of the faculty at Azrieli Schools – Herzliah, where he teaches a contemporary Israel advocacy course for all graduating students.

Jeff’s passion for community started in camp, where he spent 27 seasons, 13 of which as the Director of Camp Massad. Jeff was also Director of National Leadership Development at UIA Federations Canada and CEO of Hillel Montreal. He has been an advocacy specialist, working to advance communal needs for close to 20 years. He has been a scholar-in-residence and keynote speaker for many organizations and is considered an expert in Israel advocacy and engagement.
