In life, it is stories that connect us.

As part of the 12 Days of Action to End Violence Against Women (November 25 - December 6), we will be hosting our second Read between the Lines Book Club in collaboration with The Book Dumpling (Andrea Borod).

We will be discussing It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover, a bestselling romance novel with a large Young Adult (YA) fanbase. The influence of YA literature is profound and far-reaching, shaping the perspectives and beliefs of young minds. When unhealthy relationships are portrayed without nuance or context, they can perpetuate damaging societal norms.

Andrea, who is a seasoned facilitator of book clubs and a voracious reader, will be leading the discussion while Tegan, a clinical counsellor at the Harper Office, will be providing clinical and experiential insight into the realities of IPV as they pertain to the book.

With more than 4 million copies of this book sold, we hope that this discussion will be the catalyst for many more conversations about unhealthy or abusive relationships.

Not sure you'll finish the book in time? Don't worry about it! We're certain you will still get so much out of the discussion!
