Anthony Housefather, elected as the Member of Parliament for Mount Royal in 2015, has held various roles within the Canadian government. He served as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights from 2015 to 2019 and later as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Labour from 2019 to 2021. Following his re-election in 2021, he became the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Services and Procurement. Anthony is actively involved in several parliamentary committees and friendship groups, including the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage and the Canada-US Parliamentary Friendship Group.
