'Facing the Climate Crisis through Dialogue and Action Together'- A Conversation with the Temple Garden Committee

Sunday, August 6th, 2023

10:00 AM- Noon

Hazon (is now Adamah) and is meeting with the Temple's Garden Committee on August 6th to talk about their new goals- Shomrei Adamah: Guardians of the Earth discussion and action meeting.

Our goals for a garden chat:

-       To engage in a heart-centered dialogue about the climate crisis that connects community members to why they should engage, as Jews, in climate stewardship and action.

-       To share a current overview of the climate crisis, especially as it relates to Michigan, so the group has a shared understanding of the context for this dialogue and opportunity for action

-       To recognize some psychological barriers to climate action and become inspired to take action via personal and congregational strategies that support a more just, sustainable world

-       Working towards the formation of a community lead coalition of organizations and individuals engaging in substantive climate action

All members in the community are welcome to join us!
