Jewish Book Month Keynote Address with Dr. Phil Gold
Hosted by
Adults
Join the Friends of the Jewish Public Library for a keynote lecture with former Montreal General Hospital Physician-in-Chief, Dr. Phil Gold.
Dr. Gold recently published his autobiography, Gold’s Rounds, which chronicles his life story; from growing up in Montreal’s Plateau neighborhood, to his early days working at the Molson Brewery, and of course his remarkable career as a medical professional and cancer researcher. Dr. Gold famously went on to discover CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen), the first marker for cancer that could be used in clinical practice.
Copies of Gold’s Rounds will be available for purchase, and Dr. Gold will be there to sign your copy!
