LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE!

Become a safeTALK-trained helper and reduce the number of suicides in our community.

Most people with thoughts of suicide don’t truly want to die but are struggling with pain in their lives. Through their words and actions, they invite help to stay alive. Those trained in safeTALK can recognize these invitations and take action by connecting them with life-saving intervention resources.

  • Free safeTALK training open to anyone over the age of 15.
  • No prior experience is necessary.
  • 3 Social Work CEU's are available for this training at no cost. Please be sure to provide your license number in the requested field to be eligible to receive these.

You’ll learn to:

  • Notice and respond to situations where suicide thoughts might be present
  • Move beyond the common tendency to miss, dismiss, and avoid suicide
  • Apply the TALK steps: Tell, Ask, Listen, and Keep Safe
