Join NEXTGen Detroit at the Zekelman Holocaust Center for the incredible opportunity to meet and hear from Rene Lichtman, a local Holocaust survivor who courageously shares his story of being a child in hiding in France during the war. Listening to and connecting with our community's survivors has never been more important, as we need to acknowledge that our generation will be the last to hear first-hand accounts of the horrors of the Holocaust. We will discuss what this collective responsibility looks like and how we can use the history of the Holocaust to address the rise of antisemitism and hate today. Attendees will also receive a pass for a future admission into the museum.
