Judy Gold is an American stand-up comedian, actress, podcaster, television writer, author, and producer. She won two Daytime Emmy Awards for her work as a writer and producer on The Rosie O’Donnell Show, and has starred in comedy specials on HBO, Comedy Central, and Logo. She has also written and starred in two critically acclaimed, Off-Broadway hit shows: The Judy Show-My Life as a Sitcom and 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother. She is currently the host of the hit podcast Kill Me Now.
Woman of Distinction Honoree:
Joyce Berlin Weingarten grew up in the Metro Detroit area and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan. Over the past thirty years Joyce has held many leadership roles at Adat Shalom including president of Sisterhood and now as president of the synagogue. For twenty years Joyce has been a proud B’nai Mitzvah tutor, something she enjoys thoroughly. Joyce’s family is her number one priority. She is grateful for the support from her husband Jeffrey, her children Emily and Cody Rex, Elliot and Libby Weingarten, and granddaughters Lucy and Hannah Weingarten.
