Want to pay kindness forward and help make a difference for real? Join us for the Jewish Federation’s NEXTGen Detroit 2023 Entrée Experience.  

Over four sessions, we'll introduce you to the Metro Detroit Jewish community and everything that NEXTGen Detroit has to offer. You'll network with other young adults and community leaders and learn about local resources and programs to get involved and give back.  

Session 1: Getting to Know Federation

Tuesday, March 14 | 6:30 - 8:30 PM 

We’ll start with an intimate conversation with Amy Brody, Associate Director of Philanthropic Advancement, and learn about Federation’s work as an umbrella organization that supports 17 local and overseas Jewish agencies. Drinks and refreshments will be served. 

Session 2: All About the Agencies

Tuesday, March 21 | 6:30 - 8:30 PM 

Get to know a few of our agencies and learn how they help support the Jewish community. You'll spend time chatting with representatives from four agencies to better understand what they do and how. But first, appetizers! 

Session 3: Where does the Money Go

Tuesday, March 28 | 6:30 - 8:30 PM 

Federation's Annual Campaign raises millions of dollars to support local and international causes. But how do we decide who gets a piece of the pie and how much? In this session, you'll learn about Federation's allocation process and take part in an exercise to see how you would distribute funds to those in need. Pizza and salad will be served. 

Session 4: What's NEXT

Tuesday, April 4 | 6:30 - 8:30 PM 

Why is Federation so invested in young adults? What’s YOUR next step to becoming a leader in our community? Hear more about how you can get involved with the Federation and NEXTGen Detroit and let us help you find a meaningful opportunity. Did we mention desserts?
