Details

Do we have an international outing planned for you! We're taking a trip across the river to visit our Jewish neighbors to the north and see everything their community has to offer! We'll be accompanied by young Jewish Windsorites, so we can make some new friends and also get some insight on what it's like doing Jewish in Ontario. Here's what's on the itinerary:

11 AM: Underground Railroad walking tour at Jackson Park

12 PM: Kosher BBQ at the JCC with local spiritual leaders

2 PM: Tour and tasting at Hiram Walker Whiskey Distillery

4 PM: Tour of Windsor's historic Shaar Synagogue

4:30 PM- Back to Detroit!

$25 USD per person includes food, tours and whiskey tasting.

Participants must have a valid passport and proof of being fully vaccinated to cross the border.

Please register before October 19.

We will be arranging carpools from the Federation Building for those who are interested.

This event is intended for young adults ages 21 to 45.

Thank you to our event co-chairs: Tori Cohen and Alana Silver
