Shomrei Adamah: Facing the Climate Crisis through Dialogue and Action Together
Hosted by
Young Adults
The Earth cares for us in many ways, and as Shomrei Adamah - Guardians of the Earth - it’s up to us to care for the Earth in return. Learn, talk, and schmooze with us as we gather to discuss all things climate change: not just the effects, which can feel incredibly daunting and isolating, but also what we can do about climate change when we join together. You should leave feeling empowered, knowing that there is community in taking action. We will be meeting at Walking Lightly, a zero-waste store and refillery in Ferndale focused on environmentalism and committed to being a part of both micro and macro efforts to grow our communities in sustainability and equity.
There is no cost to attend but space is limited, so we request your RSVP in advance.
The discussion will be guided by a facilitator from Michigan Interfaith Power and Light. Special thanks to Hazon for organizing this conversation, Michigan Interfaith Power and Light for facilitating, and Walking Lightly for generously providing the location.
