Learn more about Deborah Sacks Mintz:

An educator, practitioner, and facilitator of Jewish communal music, Rabbi Deborah Sacks Mintz supports communities and individuals who seek to deepen their practice of empowered song and connective prayer - with curiosity, skill, and heart. Through workshops, song-circles, and tefila experiences, Deborah strives to use song as a tool in the process of unearthing the grassroots creative spirituality of the Jewish and global people.

As a performer and composer, Deborah brings this passion for community-building to her artistic partnerships; in addition to collaborating on over two dozen albums with a diverse array of voices in the Jewish soundscape, Deborah released her debut album of original spiritual music, The Narrow and the Expanse, in 2020.

Deborah received rabbinic ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary, and serves Hadar’s Rising Song Institute as an artist, consultant, and teacher.
