We Need To Talk, The Lior Project, and JCADA, in partnership with Haven, will be offering the following training for Jewish Community Youth Professionals:
Recognizing and Responding to Youth Survivors of IPV: Youth experience some of the highest rates of sexual assault, dating violence, and exposure to intimate partner violence in the United States. This training will explore the reality of youth violence in our community and strategies you can use to recognize and support youth survivors.
About We Need to Talk
We Need to Talk is a community-wide youth mental health initiative aimed at increasing awareness of mental illness, reducing stigma, and improving access to services. Developed by Jewish Detroit’s human service and engagement agencies, synagogues and temples, and youth serving organizations, the program is managed by Jewish Family Service with assistance from Jewish Federation.
