Sober Sunday with Lisa Kaplan

Jewish Addiction Resource Alliance (JARA) is excited to welcome Lisa Kaplan, LMSW, CAADC, ACSW as she addresses the topic of prevention for parents of teens and pre-teens. She will discuss:

• What parents can do NOW to help prevent substance use in the future
• Discuss whether Judaism is a protective factor against substance use
• Talking points to have conversations with your children regarding substance use

About the Speaker:

Lisa Kaplan, LMSW, CAADC, ACSW graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work. She has been in the addiction field for 29 years. Lisa currently runs the Community Education Department and serves as part of the clinical treatment team at Henry Ford Health’s Maplegrove Center in West Bloomfield.
