Join us for an important conversation with eating disorder experts, Dr. Jessica Van Huysse and Dr. Bernie Stoody, as we discuss the signs, symptoms and consequences of disordered eating, as well as when and how to intervene and connect youth to treatment. Parents and youth professionals will leave with practical information that can help save the life of a young person suffering from an eating disorder.

We Need to Talk (WN2T) is a community-wide youth mental health initiative aimed at increasing awareness of mental illness, reducing stigmas and improving access to services. Developed by Jewish Detroit’s human service and engagement agencies, synagogues and temples, and youth serving organizations, WN2T is managed by Jewish Family Service with assistance from the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.
