The Adult Education Committee and L'Chayim will present an event for Earth Day. On Sunday, April 14, 10.m.: Youpa Stein from Beyond Plastics will speak via Zoom on  Plastic Pollution and Climate Impacts / Exploring Actions / Tikkun Okam. Find out what we can do to minimize the impact of plastics on our planet and on our health.

Youpa will provide an overview of how plastics cause health and environmental justice harm to humans, wildlife, and the ecosystems. She will explore how we can work together to reduce the toxic overproduction and use of single use plastics.

Youpa is Co-Chair of Families for Livable Climate, a Beyond Plastics Affiliate; Manager of the Working Toward Plastic Free in Montana on Facebook Page, and belongs to the Beyond Plastics Volunteer Speakers Bureau. She is also an artist.
