Summer Job Workshop Series

Hosted by

Young Adults
College Students

Are you a young adult looking for an entry-level job? Join our small group of other job seekers for this 3-part workshop series and benefit from the combined powers of professional guidance, peer support, and real-world practice. The best part - it's 100% free!

Over the course of the series, the animators will help participants build their job search "toolbox" including:

  • the best, most relevant websites to use
  • a personalized chart of follow-up tasks
  • a suggested job search routine
  • and more

We’ll also go over:

  • the most important things to include on your CV
  • the basics of writing cover letters
  • how to best prepare for job interviews
  • applying for open positions in-person

We'll even be doing roleplay activities to help you practice and refine your interview skills, and then do some real-life exercises out in the community at nearby businesses! Individual support will be provided to participants who complete the series by the Ometz Supported Employment team.

Registration is free and mandatory. This workshop series is open to young adults aged between 16 and 35.
