Older adults often take multiple medications. This can sometimes lead to mismanagement or even addiction (intentionally or unintentionally). Join our panel as they discuss aging, addiction and the brain. We will provide resources and critical next steps for loved ones who may be struggling.

Panel Speakers:
Lynn Breuer, LMSW, CDP
Senior Director of Community Outreach & Wellness, Jewish Family Service
Lynn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and her Masters in Social Work in Interpersonal Practice from the University of Michigan. She is a national speaker, a licensed clinical social worker, a certified dementia practitioner, a health coach and a New England Cognitive Center Master Program trainer. She is currently the Senior Director of Community Outreach & Wellness at JFS, overseeing several programs within the older adult services department. Lynn also serves as adjunct faculty at Madonna University’s School of Social Work.
Rony Foumia
Pharmacist
Rony Foumia graduated from the Wayne State University School of Pharmacy in 1999. Rony has practiced as a pharmacy manager, pharmacy supervisor, district manager and area director over his 23 years in pharmacy practice. Rony is the president elect of the Oakland County Pharmacist Association (OCPA) for 2023, Board member on the Michigan Society of Community Pharmacists (MSCP) and an executive board member for Families Against Narcotics (FAN). Most recently, Rony was appointed by Governor Whitmer to the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
Becky Eizen MBA, CSA, CRS, CDP, CADDCT
Director, Resource Center, Jewish Family Service
A Board-Certified Patient Advocate, Becky began her career over 25 years ago advocating for the best care possible, specifically for older adults. She received her BA in Sociology from Louisiana State University, and MBA from Georgia State University. She a Certified Senior Advisor, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer®.
Becky has developed and implemented many programs and services for older adults with the goal of improving their lives and outcomes. Her primary focus is on educating individuals and the community about the benefits of geriatric care management, advocacy and the overall aging process. She is the Director of the Resource Center at JFS and continues her passion in helping others and the community navigate life and helping provide solutions.
